Sacred Passage to Kailash Mansarovar Yatra


Being one of the highest fresh-water lakes in the world, Lake Manasarovar lies at 4,556 meter above from sea level. The frozen lake is extremely pleasant to eyes in winters so as in summer when it melts. Natural Ganga Chhu channel connects this beautiful lake to close by Lake Rakshastal. Sources of the Brahmaputra River, the mainstream Indus River, and Ghaghara River are neighbors of this blessed Lake. Those who complete Kailash Mansarovar Yatra within their lifetime gets chance to experience its spirituality along with visit of Kailsha Mountain. 


The Himalayas, the top of the Indian peninsula has been honored as the cultural locus for million years. According to Skanda Purana, Kailash mountain of Himalaya is a place where Lord Shiv resides, the place where holy river Ganges fell from the foot of God Vishnu. 
In Sanskrit and Buddhist literature, Mansarovar is described as Anavatapta which means a lake without heat and trouble.
